
I found a website with a collection of masks used for the different characters.
From this video, I was able to find that Capitano was Spanish and a descendant of Michael the Archangel. He claims to not be a violent man and that “anyone who is old enough to fight for his country, is old enough to profit from it a little.”

The “makeup” is more colorful with more rounded painted on shapes that are common in cirque masks. The base mask is exaggerated and wrinkled to look angry, similar to those in Commedia Dell’arte.
